Well, I have the Friday feeling - regrettably it is going to be brief as we have to complete a project and one or two other mishaps have occurred during the week that require fairly urgent attention (they must be sorted before Monday!), however the time has come to lay aside those thoughts for a while and chill.

I was contemplating something today, something that I have thought about a lot over time: value, or more to the point, the question of ones sense of personal value.

Well here I am on a somewhat wild and chilly Wednesday night in my part of the world, however here the temperature is warm and cozy and there are things to discuss.

I have been thinking about an idea recently that I thought that I would share and see what you guys think.  It goes along the lines of establishing a Crowd Corporation.

What you may ask is a Crowd Corporation? - well, in its simplest form, it is an organisation that is wholly project driven, meaning that head counts expand and contract as the need arises.  Sounds a bit like an agency doesn't it?

As I have told you in my bio, I am a project manager in the information technology industry - a job which tends to be stressful much of the time.  More so because project manager's tend to be the fall guys when everything goes awry.  So you can imagine that when I was introduced to a new method or way of thinking about project management recently, I got excited.  I still am.

Ever woken up in the morning and headed out to whatever you do with your day time thinking that everything is under control - that the master plan which you have devised will keep you firmly in the drivers seat!!  I do.

Imagine if you will, my surprise to find out by lunchtime that my plan has been utterly nixed - nothing left but a smoking ruin, and then wondering why you bothered to make any plans at all?  I do.

And it is not a great feeling when this stuff happens!!  But you know that - happens to you too, doesn't it!?

It would be unusual I guess if I let the World Cup go by without a whisper - people would wonder, I would wonder.  And so this post will be dedicated to World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
